Scene configuration

Remote outside view

The Node.js server proxies frame requests to your remote renderer.

Node API endpoint

Renderer request method

Node proxy · /api/frame

GET sends flight parameters as query values; POST sends JSON. Set REMOTE_RENDERER_URL and optional REMOTE_RENDERER_TOKEN in the Node.js host environment. The renderer should return an image or JSON with an image URL / base64 data.

Cockpit model

Swap the built-in cockpit for a glTF 2.0 model. GLB is the easiest format.

＋ Choose a .glb / .gltf file

Or load model URL

Built-in cockpit · ready

Models are framed automatically. GLB is recommended. The view recenters the model and renders cockpit surfaces from both sides. For best results, export with +Y up and the windscreen facing -Z, with textures embedded.

Included model: Boeing 737-800 Cockpit by hakai315, licensed CC BY 4.0. Source model.

Cockpit alignment

Tune the loaded model live. Position and scale are relative to its automatic fit.

XYZPositionRotation °Scale ×

Try rotating by 90° if the cockpit faces sideways. Values update as you type and leave the original GLB unchanged.

Demo outside scene

Use a local generated horizon image while the remote renderer is offline.
